Before dispatching an armada into battle, an experienced commander gathers intelligence. Attacking blindly into fortified outposts or high-tier pirate nests can cost your entire fleet!
📡 Scanning the Galactic Map
Every galaxy sector hides points of interest beneath the fog of war:
- Asteroid Clusters: Mining hotspots for metals and gas.
- Pirate Strongholds & Drones: Neutral targets for experience and plunder.
- Player Bases: Potential allies, trading partners, or rivals.
🕵️ How Reconnaissance Works
- Target Selection: Select any sector coordinate and initiate "Scan" or dispatch a probe.
- Receiving the Intelligence Dossier: Once the scan mission concludes, an exhaustive dossier is delivered to your Mailbox Archive:
- Complete enemy fleet composition (unit classes and exact numbers).
- Vaulted resource caches available for plunder.
- Command Center tier and planetary shield status.
📊 Pre-Combat Analysis
- Counter-Composition: Identify the enemy fleet makeup. If they field heavy interceptor swarms, build strike wings that deal 2x damage to interceptors.
- Cargo Hold Capacity: Calculate cargo capacity before launching to haul back every single resource unit available.
